She was born Feb. 13, 1935, in Bena, Va. to Harvey Phillips Sr. and Dorotha Ross Phillips.
Survivors are her husband of 46 years, Homer Kitchen of Killeen, a son, Darwin Alexander of Killeen; two daughters, Marcia Diggs and Alverta Smith, both of Killeen; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen.
