ROSEBUD — Services for Ruby Rothe, 89, of Burlington will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Cook-Gerngross-Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Rosebud with the Rev. James Wheeless officiating.

Burial will follow in Burlington Cemetery.

Mrs. Rothe died Friday, Jan. 25, at a Cameron nursing home.

She was born Feb. 8, 1918, in Vogelsang community of Milam County to Paul Lorenz and Lena Hill Lorenz. She lived all her life in Milam and Falls counties. She married Ernest Rothe on Dec. 29, 1938. She attended the Lutheran Church in Vogelsang and Burlington. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband; a daughter, Frances Rothe; and a grandchild.

Survivors are a son, Jackie Rothe of Cameron; four daughters, Bernice Heugatter of Rosebud, Ernestine McGoldrick of Waco, Brenda Willis of Temple and Carolyn Hileman of Burlington; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and four step-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
