ROSEBUD — Services for Melvin Janke, 80, of Rosebud will be 11 a.m. Friday at Cook-Gerngross-Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Rosebud.
Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Rosebud.
Mr. Janke died Tuesday, Jan. 29, at a Cameron hospital.
He was born Aug. 19, 1927 in Burlington to Paul Janke and Anna Rothe Janke. He lived in Falls and Milam county all of his life. He worked as a farmer and rancher. He married Mildred Koslosky White and he was a member of Salem Lutheran Church. He was preceded in death by his wife.
Survivors are two stepdaughters, Shirley Harrison and Barbara Sapp, both of Rosebud; a brother, Walter Janke of Cameron; five step-grandchildren; seven step great-grandchildren; and five step great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
