CAMERON — Services for Elia Garcia, 73, of Cameron will be at a later date.

She died Thursday, Jan. 31, at a Cameron nursing home.

Mrs. Garcia was born Feb. 27, 1934, in Crystal City to Ignacio Garcia and Severita Garcia Garcia. She was a homemaker.

Survivors are two sons, Richard Garcia of Cameron, Rolando Garcia of Eagle Pass; four daughters, Norma Martinez, Yolanda Flowers and Edna Castellanos, all of Cameron, and Adrianna Garcia of Washington; six brothers, Saul Garcia and Edmundo Garcia both of Eagle Pass, Mauro Garcia, David Garcia, Jamie Garcia and Edmundo Garcia, all of San Antonio; three sisters, Alma Montemayor of Pearsall, Aida Sisneros of Eagle Pass, and Angelina Garcia of San Antonio; 18 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron is in charge of the arrangements.
