Memorial service for John Paul Eberhart, 61, of Temple will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Sheffield Funeral Home in Temple with Dan Mills officiating. The body was cremated.

Burial will be in Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, at a later date.

Mr. Eberhart died Thursday, Feb. 7, at his home.

He was born March 15, 1946, in Warren, Minn., to John and Irene Anderson Eberhart. He joined the U.S. Air Force on Sept. 23, 1965. He was a member of the VFW Post No. 8878 of Wichita Falls. He married Linda Sosebee on Jan. 8, 1983, in Wichita Falls.

Survivors are his wife; two sons, Rick Eberhart of Temple, Tim Eberhart of Wichita Falls; one daughter, Tina Godino of Rogers; two sisters, Mary Jane Eberhart of Wichita Falls, Anne Dunnweber of Deluth, Minn.; and 10 grandchildren.
