Services for J.W. “Mutt” Hill, 87, of Holland will be 2 p.m. Monday at the Harper-Talasek Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Linda Mitchell officiating.

Burial will be in Holland Cemetery.

Mr. Hill died Thursday, Feb. 7 at a local nursing home.

He was born in Rogers to Henry and Eva Moore Hill on July 31, 1920. He was a member of the Little River United Methodist Church, a farmer and a lifelong resident of the area. He married Ruby Jeschke on Nov. 27, 1940.

His parents, three brothers and one sister preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife of 67 years; one daughter, Patsy Muse of Holland; two brothers, R.C. Hill and Virgil Hill both of Holland, one sister, Dean Wallace of Temple; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Texas Home Health Hospice, 3001 W. Waco Drive, Suite B, Waco 76707-3272.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
