HAMILTON — Services for Sam Andrew Winkler were held Sunday, Jan. 26, in Oakwood Cemetery under the direction of Riley Funeral Home of Hamilton.

He died Jan. 23, 2008, in Temple.

Mr. Winkler was born Oct. 28, 1931, in George West. He married Pearl Eary in Arizona on Dec. 14, 1963. He served his country in the U.S. Army for 21 years in Korea and Vietnam. After retiring, he was a dock foreman for Western Auto hardware stores.

Survivors include his wife; and two brothers.
