CAMERON — Services for Sherri Korsmo, 47, of Cameron, will be 10 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church in Cameron with the Rev. Gary Maroney officiating.

Burial will be in Missouri at a later date.

Ms. Korsmo died Monday, Feb. 11, near Giddings.

She was born on July 19, 1960, in Colorado Springs, Colo., to William B. and Belva Howard Pennington. She was employed as a dragline operator for Luminant Mining’s Three Oaks Lignite Mine in Lee County. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Cameron.

Survivors include a son, Rafn Hauk Korsmo of Cameron; a brother, Wesley Pennington of Taneyville, Mo.; a sister, LaDonna Stuart of Taneyville, Mo.; and her parents of Taneyville, Mo.

Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral home of Cameron is in charge of arrangements.
