BELTON — Services for Carl C. “Chet” Crothers, 84, of Salado will be 3 p.m. Friday at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton with the Rev. Wally Morillo and the Rev. Gary Desalvo officiating.
Burial will follow in the Temple Garden of Memories.
Mr. Crothers died Tuesday, Feb. 12, in a Temple hospital.
He was born in Kalkaska, Mich., on Sept. 22, 1923, to Willis Leroy and Blanche Aldridge Crothers. He served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II and Korea. He was employed as an Electronic Technician for Texas Instruments in Austin. He married Donna Jean Kirsher on April 10, 1976 in Austin. He moved to Salado in 1993.
Survivors include his wife of Salado; three sons, Scott Crothers of Bartlesville, Okla., Kurt Luckinbill of Richardson, Steven Luckinbill of Meridian, Idaho; a daughter, Linda Curlee of Cedar Park; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Grace Community Church Camp Scholarship Fund, 132 North Sugar Road, Pharr, Tx 78677.
Visitation will be 2 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
