Services for Louis Andrew Cheek, 64, of Temple, will be 3 p.m. Friday at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home with the Rev. Charlie Robinson officiating.
Burial will follow at Cedar Knob Cemetery.
Mr. Cheek died Wednesday, Feb. 13, at his home.
He was born June 15, 1943 in Houston to James and Ellen Slatter Morgan. He grew up in the Flo community near Buffalo. He was a longtime resident of Fairfield where he owned and operated Cheek Iron Works for several years. He was also involved in ranching. He had been a resident of Temple for the past two years.
Survivors include his wife, Sheila Crowe of Temple; three sons, Louis Ray Cheek of Seguin, Ron Hill Jr. of Allen, Chad Cieslewicz of Temple; six daughters, Michelle Pratt of Fairfield, Charlotte Lawson of Austin, Shawn Woodard of Hitchcock, Audra Jackson of Fairfield, Jamey Brasfield of Bloomfield, N.M., Misti Jackson of Temple; four sisters; and 17 grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to any charity.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., today at the funeral home.
