Services for Dorothy M. Harvey Hannon, 89, of Temple, will be 2 p.m., Saturday, at Sheffield Funeral Home with Dr. Thomas Allen officiating.

Burial will follow at Moody Cemetery in Moody.

Mrs. Hannon died Tuesday, Feb. 20, in a Temple hospital.

She was born Aug 29, 1918 to W.B. Harvey and Willie Lee Mitchell Harvey. She graduated from Temple High School in 1937. She married V.J. ‘Skeeter’ Hannon in Temple on March 5, 1939. She lived in Temple most of her life, and she was a member of the Grace Presbyterian Church.

Preceded in death by her husband.

Survivors include two daughters, Joyce E. Holmes of Belton and Vicki C. Thomas of Leander; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Friends may sign the registry 8 a.m. – 7 p.m., Thursday and Friday at the funeral home.

Visitation will be 1-2 p.m., Saturday at the funeral home.
