COPPERAS COVE — Graveside services for JoAnn Dewald Gant, 79, of Copperas Cove, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in Copperas Cove Cemetery.

Mrs. Gant died Saturday, Feb. 23, in a local nursing home.

She was born Jan. 7, 1929, to Orbie Arnett and Orlean Bayliss Arnett in Big Spring. She was a homemaker and a Methodist. She worked at Lea’s Dress Shop in Copperas Cove for a number of years. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority.

Survivors include two sons, Fred J. Dewald of Waco and Glen Dewald of Copperas Cove; three daughters, Kathryn Sublett of Waco, Gretchen Altum of Copperas Cove and Heidi Rivers of Stephenville; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday at Sheppard Funeral Home in Copperas Cove.
