A Mass of Christian burial for Ernestina ‘Tina’ Castro, 65, of Temple, formerly of McAllen will be 10 a.m., Friday at St Luke Catholic Church with the Rev. Brian Eilers officiating.

Burial will follow in Bellwood Memorial Park Cemetery in Temple.

Mrs. Castro died Monday at her home.

She was born Nov. 15, 1942 to Guadalupe Rincones and Isabel Zuniqa in Lantana. She was raised and educated in Harlingen. She was employed with the U.S. Department of Justice in the division of Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives for 26 years, first in Brownsville, then in McAllen from 1992-2007 when she retired.

Survivors include her husband, Felix of Temple; two sons, Mike A. Castro of San Marcos and Mark A. Castro of Arlington; one daughter, Belinda R. Connolly of Port Washington, N.Y.; three brothers; two sisters; and two grandchildren.

A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m., today at Sheffield Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 6-7 p.m., today at the funeral home.
