CAMERON — Services for Gerardo P. Lopez, 65, of Cameron will be 10 a.m. Friday at St. Monica Catholic Church in Cameron.

Burial will be in Hernandez Cemetery in Cameron.

Mr. Lopez died Tuesday, March 4, in a Temple hospital.

He was born Oct. 3, 1942, in Bexar County, to Felipe Lopez and Antonia Ponce. He was a retired restaurant cook. He was a member of St. Monica’s Catholic Church.

Survivors include a son, Andrew Lopez of Cameron; a daughter, Linda Lopez of Rogers; two brothers, Guadalupe Lopez and Ricardo Lopez, both of Buckholts; six sisters, Janie Montalbo of Cameron, Olga Cheney, Yolanda Castillo, both of Waxahachie, Virginia Benavides of May Pearl, Mary Riley of Salado, and Antonia Lopez of Temple; and seven grandchildren.

A rosary will be recited 6 p.m. Thursday at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron.
