BELTON — Services for Bertha H. Nolty, 67, of Belton will be 1:30 p.m. Monday at Miller Heights Baptist Church with the Rev. Billy Johnson officiating.

Private family burial will be Monday in North Belton Cemetery.

Mrs. Nolty died Wednesday in a Temple hospital.

She was born Jan. 12, 1941, to John Ernest and Lois L. Weiber Heimer in Flasher, N.D. She married Gerald W. Nolty Aug. 25, 1962, in Flasher, N.D., and moved to this area in 1976 from San Diego. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Belton and an active member of the Tejas Club. Preceded in death by her husband in 2000.

Survivors include a son, Dallas Nolty of New York; a daughter, Kathy Nolty of Belton; two brothers, Bobby Heimer of Seattle and Edward Heimer of Long Beach, Calif.; four sisters, Marilyn Deering of Seattle, Pearl Haskins of Wichita, Kan., Dorothy Bower of Hazelton, N.D., and Shirley Pipins of Blue Jacket, Olka.

Family visitation will be 7-9 p.m. today at Heartfield Funeral Home in Belton.
