ROCKDALE — Services for Corine O. Chapman, 84, of Rockdale will be 2 p.m., Monday at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale with the Rev. Joel Silva officiating.

Burial will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery in Rockdale.

Mrs. Chapman died Thursday in a local hospital.

She was born April 14, 1923, to Robert and Ruth Corine Brashaer Stevens in the Salem Community near Cameron. She married Orval Fred Chapman April 6, 1944, in League City. She was a homemaker and a member of First Christian Church in Rockdale. She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years on Jan. 30, 1987.

Survivors include a daughter, Shirley Cavazos of Rockdale; a half-brother, Howard Stevens of Dallas; a half-sister, Claudell Raymond of Houston; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m., today at the funeral home.
