ROSEBUD — Services for Robert Frank Heese, 80, of Westphalia will be 10 a.m., Tuesday at the Church of the Visitation in Westphalia with the Rev. Walter Dhanwar officiating.

Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Westphalia.

Mr. Hesse died Thursday at his home.

He was born Aug. 12, 1927, to Frank and Lena Heese in Westphalia. He graduated from Lott High School. He married Helen Louise Giere on Nov. 27, 1948. He was a farmer and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of the Church of the Visitation and the Temple VFW. He was preceded in death by his wife of 24 years on Jan. 1, 1973.

Survivors include two sons, Martin Heese and Kenneth Heese, both of Waco; a sister, Selma Engelke of Waco; and two grandchildren.

A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Monday in Cook-Gerngross-Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Rosebud.
