KILLEEN — Services for Dorothy Marie Carroll, 74, of Nolanville will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen with the Rev. Juneroy Nugent officiating. The services will also include a memorial for her husband, Cecil Carroll who preceded her in death.

Burial will be 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio.

Mrs. Carroll died Wednesday in Harker Heights.

She was born Sept. 2, 1933 in Manhattan, Kan. She was raised and educated in Manhattan and Enterprise, Kan. She was employed as a medical records administrator at Carl Darnall Medical Center. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Temple.

Survivors include a son, Kenneth “Bud” Bates Jr.; four daughters, Debora Childress, Carol Parker, Susan Miles and Kathy Sorce; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Seventh Day Adventist Church, 1911 West Ave. H, Temple, Texas 76504.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Monday at the funeral home.
