There is potential for severe weather and the area should be receiving 2 to 3 inches of heavy rain, Andersen said.
The worst should be over this morning but little disturbances will swing by throughout this evening, Andersen said.
A south/southeast wind was expected to roll in this morning, reaching speeds of 15 to 20 mph and turning into a west/northwest wind, which will decrease 5 to 10 mph.
People getting used to the pleasant weather this week may want to keep a coat handy as temperatures will drop to 57 degrees by 2 p.m. and could get as low as 44 by this evening.
Umbrellas could be handy as well - there is a 100 percent chance of rain this morning and a 90 percent chance of showers tonight.
Winds could soar as high as 25 mph this evening, according to the National Weather Service.
