Services for Marjorie Helen Klopfenstein, 96, of Temple, formerly of Dallas, will be 10 a.m. Friday at Sheffield Funeral Home with the Rev. Margaret Boles officiating.

Burial will be 2 p.m. Friday in San Marcos City Cemetery.

Mrs. Klopfenstein died Tuesday, March 18.

She was born Dec. 15, 1911, to Herman Karl and Mathilda Helen Kuhlman in Barrington, Ill. She attended the Presbyterian School of Nursing in Chicago. She married Elmer Klopfenstein in 1933. She worked as a store nurse, for what is now Macy’s for 10 years. She retired in 1987 and moved to Canyon Lake. She was preceded in death by her husband.

Survivors include a son, Albert Klopfenstein of Houston; a daughter, Mae Offield of Temple; six grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

Family visitation will be 5-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
