Charlene Czerwieski

Services for Charlene Czerwieski, 85, of Dallas, formerly of Temple, will be 2 p.m., Monday at St. Mary Catholic Church in Temple with the Rev. Ranjan Cletus officiating.

Mrs. Czerwieski died Wednesday in a Dallas nursing home.

She was born April 28, 1922 to William Franklin Crye and Lillian Cummings Crye in Farrar. She married John Czerwieski in Waco on March 21, 1942. She was a resident of Temple most of her life only moving to Dallas five years ago. Prior to retiring, she was employed as a LVN with Scott & White Memorial Hospital and King’s Daughters Hospital in Temple. She was a member of the Texas League of Vocational Nurses, American Business Women’s Association, Catholic Daughters, Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post No. 1820, and the Temple Amateur Radio Club. Also, she was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and the Altar Society of the Church. Preceded in death by her husband of 60 years in 2002.

Survivors include a son, Don Czerwieski of Glenn Heights; and two grandsons.

Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple is in charge of arrangements.
