Memorial services for Eloise Smith Vannoy, 82, of Temple will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Grace Presbyterian Church with Dr. Thomas Allen officiating.

Mrs. Vannoy died Sunday in a local hospital.

She was born March 24, 1925, to James Henry and Marie Johnson Smith in Brookhaven, Miss. She married Thomas Reece Vannoy on June 13, 1948, in Brookhaven. She was a schoolteacher and an administrator in the Conroe ISD for many years. She had been a resident of Temple for 22 years. She was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years; two daughters, Tamara Vannoy of Austin and Cheryl Vannoy Mahoney of McKinney; a sister, Peggy Smith Bates of Kerrville; and three grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Grace Presbyterian Church.

Scanio-Harper Funeral Home in Temple is in charge of arrangements.
