KILLEEN — Services for Evelyn Joyce Sosby, 70, of Killeen will be 1 p.m. Monday at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Killeen with the Rev. Jimmy Towers officiating.

Burial will follow in the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.

Mrs. Sosby died Tuesday, March 25.

She was born Feb. 25, 1938, to the late Coy and Ethel Watson in Maydelle. She married Jesse Ray Sosby. She worked for Lockheed and DynCorp at Fort Hood before her retirement. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years on Jan. 28, 2008.

Survivors include a son, Bill Sosby of Austin; a daughter, Glenda Sosby of Austin; a brother, John O. Watson of Palestine; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Family visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
