GATESVILLE — Services for Michael “Mike” Wayne Kuzenka, 58, of Gatesville will be 2 p.m. Monday at Scott’s Funeral Home in Gatesville.

Burial will follow in Restland Cemetery.

Mr. Kuzenka died Friday, March 28, at his home.

He was born Sept.14, 1949, to the late John and Eunice Kuzenka. He moved to Gatesville in the late 1950’s. He married Linda on June 17, 1967. He was a master plumber and owned M.W. Kuzenka Plumbing for 35 years. He had a band; Mike Kuzenka and the Country Sounds. He started “The Gatesville Jamboree” for his community.

Survivors include his wife of 40 years of Gatesville; two sons, Michael Kuzenka of Benbrook and Vance Kuzenka of Temple; a daughter, Tina Snoody of Gatesville; a brother, Johnny James Kuzenka of Gatesville; a sister, Shiela Lisenby of Gatesville; and five grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Gatesville Revival Center, The Gatesville Country Music Hall of Fame or Vista Care Hospice.

Family visitation will be 4-6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
