Services for Eva Bernice Hughes, 77, of Belton will be 10 a.m. today at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home in Temple with the Rev. Darren Walker officiating.

Burial will follow in Temple Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Mrs. Hughes died Saturday, March 29, at her home.

She was born Feb. 6, 1931, to Roosevelt and Eva Stolz Acker in Pond Creek, Pa. She was a retired nurses assistant. She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and of the First United Methodist Church in Belton. She was preceded in death by her husband; and three sons, William Charles, Charles Jr. and John Michael.

Survivors include three sons, Chip Dunsmoor of Cameron, Robert Hughes of California and Howard Dunsmoor of Oswego, N.Y.; a daughter, Darlene Meyers of Belton; four brothers, Jack, Bill, Howard and Charles all of Pennsylvania; a sister, Elizabeth Acker of Pennsylvania; numerous grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
