GEORGETOWN — Services for Bobby Donaldson, 73, will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home in Georgetown with the Rev. Darren Donaldson officiating.

Burial will be in I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Georgetown.

Mr. Donaldson died Sunday, March 30.

He was born May 10, 1934, in The Grove to Thomas Cecil Donaldson and Ruby Mae Parsons Donaldson. He graduated from Moody High School in 1952 and attended Temple Junior College. He served in the U.S. Army 1954-56. He married Betty Ann Barnett on May 17, 1957. He was a longtime employee of Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. and a member of the Communication Workers of America. He was a member of the Z.S. Teague Masonic Lodge of Moody. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Georgetown.

He was preceded in death by a son, Kyle.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Darren of Brenham and Chris of Madisonville; a daughter, Robin Ann of Austin; and six grandchildren.

Memorials can be made to the American Heart Association, American Cancer Society or the Gideons International.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
