Services for Betty Joyce Galloway Rowell, 76, of Temple will be 2:30 p.m. Monday at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home in Temple with Dr. Tom Henderson officiating.

Burial will follow in Bellwood Memorial Park.

Mrs. Rowell died Friday, April 4 in a local hospital.

She was born March 6, 1932 to Otho and Amanda Whitenburg Galloway in The Mound. On Dec. 12, 1969, she married Phillip Rowell in Temple. She worked for Temple Independent School District for 19 years and was a member of Heights Baptist Church in Temple.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Dick Dixon of Temple and Craig Martin of Missouri City; a daughter, Gaylene Galloway of Temple; two sisters, Pat Brazzil of Gatesville and Shirley McCord of New Braunfels; and six grandchildren.

Family visitation will be 6-8 p.m., today at the funeral home.
