KILLEEN — Memorial services for Yasuko “Sue” Thornton, 76, of Killeen will be 9 a.m. Friday at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen with the Rev. Mark Tarrant officiating.

Mrs. Thornton died Monday, April 7, in Austin.

She was born Aug. 28, 1931, to Takeo and Kanae Ono in Fukuoka, Japan. She was a member of the Golden Ages Bowling League of Killeen. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph A. Thornton, in 1989.

Survivors include a son, Ken Krusely of Round Rock; a daughter, Kathy Hughes of Austin; a brother of Japan; two sisters of Japan; and four grandchildren.
