KILLEEN — Services for Retired Sgt. First Class Forrest M. Hayman, 54, of Temple will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Saint Paul Chong Hasang Catholic Church in Killeen with Father Richard O’Rourke officiating.
Burial will be in Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery with full military honors.
Mr. Hayman died Sunday, April 13, in a Temple hospital.
He was born Jan. 20, 1954, in Newport, R.I. He served in the U.S. Army for 20 years until his retirement in 1994. His military awards include: Army Commendation Medal w/two OLC; Good Conduct Medal Clasp, silver’ National Defense Service Medal w bronze star; Army Achievement Medal w/OLC; Noncommissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon w/number 3; Overseas Service Ribbon w/number 5; Army Service Ribbon; Expert Rifle Badge.
Survivors include two sons, Jason L. Hayman of South Korea and John M. Hayman of Harker Heights; and a sister, Patricia McFarland of Charlestown, S.C.
Arrangements are being handled by Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Killeen.
