CAMERON — Services for Erma Florine Casey, 95, of Cameron will be 1 p.m. Thursday at the Little River Cemetery with the Rev. Carl Hudson officiating.

Mrs. Casey died Monday, April 14, in a Cameron nursing center.

She was born Oct. 15, 1912, in the Jones Prairie Community, near Cameron, to Otis W. and Emma Blasienz Franklin. She was a homemaker. Prior to moving to Cameron she was a member of the First Baptist Church in Freeport where she was also active in Vacation Bible School as a teacher and was active in other church activities including WMU. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Casey, in 1997, and a son, Ronald Albert Casey, in 1998.

Survivors include a brother, Roy Lee Franklin of Bryan; a sister, Ludie McCleary of Lake Jackson; and a grandchild.

Arrangements are being handled by Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Cameron.
