CAMERON — Services for Edna Elizabeth “Betty” Fikes, 79, of Richmond will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Rogers City Cemetery with Gene VanNoord officiating.

Mrs. Fikes died Monday, April 14, in a Richmond hospital.

She was born April 1, 1929, in Big Sandy to Minor and Jessie Lee Welch Marshall.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward “Sonny” Fikes.

Survivors include a son, Allan Fikes of Wharton; a brother, Minor S. “Jr.” Marshall of Albuquerque, N.M.; a sister, Colleen Gerstenberger of Richmond; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron.
