Temple and Belton are set for three-game bi-district series against a pair of Round Rock schools.
Temple will host Round Rock High in the opening game of the series at 7 p.m. Game two will be at Round Rock at 6 p.m. Friday with a third game to follow 30 minutes afterward if necessary.
The Tem-Cats (10-19) enter playoffs as the fourth-place team from District 13-5A. Round Rock is the top seed from 14-5A coming out of a three-way tie with Round Rock Westwood and Leander. The Lady Dragons were awarded the top seed based on its season record. District officials decided not to have a multi-tiered playoff to separate the teams.
Belton (23-6) will also be at home for its opening series game against Westwood (20-8). The Lady Tigers will travel to Westwood for the second game Friday at 6 p.m. with a third game set 30 minutes afterward if neeeded.
Belton, which lost to Westwood 2-1 earlier in the season, finished second in 13-5A with a 10-2 mark. Westwood takes the third seed from 14-5A.
Tickets for both of the 5A playoff series will be $4 for adults and $2 for students.
In Class 3A, Gatesville will take on Liberty Hill in a one-game playoff on Friday at 7 p.m. in Lampasas. Gatesville finished second in 17-3A, while Liberty Hill was third in 18-3A.
Bruceville-Eddy is returning to the postseason again in the 2A ranks, facing Dublin on Thursday at 7 p.m. at Stephenville High. The Lady Eagles were third in District 12-2A behind Crawford and Clifton. Dublin took second in 11-2A.
Rosebud-Lott, which took second in District 25-2A, has set its bi-district playoff with Lexington for 7:30 p.m. Thursday in Rockdale.
Rogers defeated Academy 9-4 on Monday to take the third playoff spot from the district. The Lady Eagles will advance to meet Onalaska in a best-of-three series on Friday and Saturday with a location to be determined.
Granger will meet Flatonia in a three-game series. The teams will square off Wednesday at 7 p.m. in Elgin. The series will resume Saturday in Brenham at 6 p.m. with a third game to follow if needed.
