LAMPASAS — Services for William Robert Rush, 48, of Midway City, Calif., will be 2 p.m. Monday at Sneed Funeral Chapel in Lampasas with the Rev. Jerry Perkins officiating.

Burial will follow in Smith School Creek Cemetery.

Mr. Rush died Friday, May 2, at his home.

He was born April 2, 1960, to William Thomas “W.T.” Rush and Alice Elizabeth Langford Rush in Alexandria, La. He graduated from Irving High School in 1978, and graduated from T.S.T.C. in Waco, receiving an associate degree. He returned to school in 2006 and earned a degree in counseling and was working in a drug and alcohol rehabilitation center.

Survivors include a brother, Mike Rush; and his mother of Lampasas.
