LAMPASAS — Services for Marie Cassidy, 92, of Lampasas will be 4 p.m. Sunday at Sneed Funeral Chapel in Lampasas with Jim Phillips officiating.

Burial will follow at Townsen Cemetery.

Mrs. Cassidy died Friday, May 9, at a local nursing home.

She was born Sept. 5, 1915, to Ross O. Greer and Mary Viola Lindsey Greer in Lampasas County. She married William Patrick Cassidy in Florida in 1945. She was a beautician for many years, retiring in 1981. She was a member of the Berean Christadelphian Church. Her husband; and a son, Welton Taylor, preceded her in death.

Survivors include a son, Harry Cassidy of Magnolia; four sisters, Jewel Bell, Ruby Wolfe and Linnie Hennig, all of Lampasas, and Wynona Peterson of Elgin; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
