ROCKDALE — Services for Wayne Caffey, 73, of Rockdale will be 10 a.m. Monday at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale with the Rev. Ronnie Dyer and the Rev. Chip Palmer officiating.
Burial will be in Sharp Cemetery in Sharp.
Mr. Caffey died Friday, May 9, in a local hospital.
He was born Jan. 20, 1935, to Lenza E. and Ruth Duncan Caffey in the Duncan Community in Milam County. He was a farmer and rancher. He married Shirley Dyer June 1, 1962, in the Tracy Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years of Rockdale; a son, Billy Caffey of Thorndale; two daughters, Tammy Cass of Rockdale and Pattie Schneebeli of Jacksonville; three brothers, Lenza Caffey Jr. of Fort Worth, Clyde Caffey of San Marcos and Clement Caffey of Bossier City, La.; two sisters, Anita Davis of San Marcos and Novalene Green of Belton; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
