A Mass of Christian burial for Norbert William “Bill” Pustka, 75, of Temple will be 9 a.m. Monday at Christ the King Catholic Church in Belton with the Rev. Dick Hudson officiating.
Private family burial will be held at a later date.
Mr. Pustka died Thursday, May 8, in a Temple hospital.
He was born June 19, 1932, to Alphonse and Albina Kabella Pustka in West. He was a longtime member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Belton. He was a 46-year member of the Knights of Columbus and a past Grand Knight and a charter member of Council No. 7196. He was on the building committee of St. Luke Catholic Church in Temple and Christ the King Catholic Church in Belton. He was a member of the Belton Jaycees and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He retired from Texas Stainless in 1996. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Jo Vaughn Pustka; and two brothers.
Survivors include his wife, Claudia Pustka; five sons, David, Mark, Paul, Jeff and Matt; a daughter, Susan; five stepchildren; two sisters, Joyce Sheppard and Donna Jez; 35 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Christ the King Family Life Center, 210 E. 24th St., Belton, Texas 76513.
There will be a viewing at the church Sunday afternoon with a visitation at 5 p.m. and a rosary being recited at 6 p.m.
