Services for Dorothy Small, 82, former longtime resident of Mabank will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Small died Thursday, May 8, in a local hospital.
She was born July 13, 1925, to Percival Kulp Dunlap Sr. and Rosetta Clymer Dunlap in Oaks, Pa. She was a graduate of Phoenixville (Pa.) High School and University of Texas at Tyler with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She married Theodore Small May 31, 1958, in North Wales, Pa. She was a registered nurse, a member of the Kiwanis Club in Mabank and Four Mile Lutheran Church in Prairieville. She retired from Presbyterian Hospital in Kaufman. She was preceded in death by her husband and two sons, Gary Levering and Terry Small.
Survivors include a son, Tom Small of San Jose, Calif.; a daughter, Barbara S. Key of Moffat; a brother, Percival Dunlap Jr. of Lansdale Pa.; three sisters, Florence Paster of Phoenixville, Pa., Elizabeth Holbert of Chokoloskee, Fla., and Ruth Richardson of Norristown, Pa.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
