Services for Mary Adams, 66, of Temple will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Sheffield Funeral Home in Temple with the Rev. Jeff Loudin officiating.
Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery.
Mrs. Adams died Saturday in a Temple hospital.
She was born March 17, 1942, to James William Robbins Sr. and Mary Dolores Worthington Robbins in Sherman. She was raised and educated in Collinsville, where she graduated from high school. She married Herman Ray Adams on Jan. 27, 1963, in Collinsville. She had lived in Temple since 1972. She was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist church.
Survivors include her husband of 45 years of Temple; two sons, Douglas Ray Adams of Morgan’s Point and Todd Wesley Adams of Temple; five brothers, James Robbins of Midlothian, Michael Robbins of Collinsville, Johnny Robbins of Temple, Ronald Robbins of Sherman and Reginald Robbins of Mill Creek, Okla.; a sister, Dolores Hobbs of Pottsboro; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Physically Challenged Adult Support Group, 505 N. Second St. Apt. 303, Temple, 76501, or Dr. John Star Memorial, c/o Scott & White Memorial Hospital, 2401 S. 31st St., Temple, 76508.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
