Freida O. Anderson, 90, of Davilla died Monday in a local nursing home.

Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home in Temple.

Burial will be in Davilla Cemetery.

Mrs. Anderson was born March 25, 1918, in Davilla to Dan and Anna (Potter) Gilleland. She was a lifelong resident of Davilla and sold Avon products for many years. After her first husband’s death she married James P. Anderson on Feb. 14, 1981.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Bernard B. Easterwood, and a daughter, Celia Betros.

Survivors are her husband; three daughters, Mary Anderson and Debbie Jones, both of Robinson, and Andrea Carter of Waco; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
