KILLEEN — Services for Jessie M. Cobbs, of Killeen will be 12:30 p.m. Thursday in the Anderson Chapel AME Church in Killeen with the Rev. William Campbell officiating.

Burial will be in the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery.

Mrs. Cobbs died Sunday, May 11, in Killeen.

She was born in Chester, S.C., and attended schools in Winston-Salem, S.C. She married Alvin Raymond Cobbs in Killeen. She was a lifetime member of Anderson Chapel AME Church and a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary No. 9191.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Jeri Battle; two sisters, Roberta Foster and Pearlie Archbald; two grandsons; and a foster sister, Margaret Evans.

Memorials may be made to the Jessie M. Cobbs Memorial Building Fund, Anderson Chapel AME Church, 1002 Jeffries Ave., Killeen 76541.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. today at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen.
