CAMERON — Services for Leroy Cook, 73, of Blum, formerly of Vidor, will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron.
Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Rosebud.
Mr. Cook died Tuesday, May 13, at his residence.
He was born Dec. 19, 1934, in Fort Worth to Roy Earl and Lillie Gloria Wideman Cook. He retired from Mobil Chemical in Beaumont. He was preceded in death by a son, Travis Wayne Cook.
Survivors include six sons, Leroy Edward Cook, James Cook, both of Granbury, Christopher Cook of Prague, Farris Wayne Cook of Nederland, Sidney Cook of Ruidoso, N.M., and Scott Cook of Iowa; three daughters, Judy Lutz of Arlington, Patricia Cook of Granbury, and Shelia Ellingson of Osceola, Wis.; a brother, John Cook of Cleburne; two sisters, Christine Uselton of Burleson, and Carolyn Goza of Cameron; 17 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
