KILLEEN — Services for Louis Lee Rodgers Jr., 82, of Killeen will be 2 p.m. at Greater Peace Church in Killeen.

Burial will follow in Killeen City Cemetery.

Mr. Rodgers died Sunday, May 11, in a Killeen nursing home.

He was born March 8, 1926, to Louis and Sarah Pass Rodgers in Floresville. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Candy E. Rodgers-Tedder, in 1982.

Survivors include his wife, Willie Lois Rodgers; a son, David C. Brown; a daughter, Mona R. Gates, all of Killeen; five grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen.

KILLEEN — Services for CSM Thurman Beavers Sr. (Ret.), 64, of Killeen are pending with Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen.

Mr. Beavers died Tuesday, May 13, in a Temple hospital.
