BROWNWOOD — Services for Kathryn “Kaye” Petross, 83, of Bangs will be 2 p.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church in Bangs.

Graveside services will follow in Bangs Cemetery.

Mrs. Petross died Monday, May 12.

She was born Sept. 19, 1924, to James and Addie Plummer in May, Texas. She married Murice “Pete” Petross on Aug. 8, 1946. She retired from Texas State Optical in Brownwood in 1984. She was a member of Bangs First United Methodist Church for 47 years.

Survivors include her husband of Bangs; two sons, Doug Petross of Clyde and Stan Petross of Abilene; a daughter, Karen Allman of Temple. 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at Heartland Funeral Home in Brownwood.
