CAMERON — Services for Mary Tom Moody, 93, of Cameron will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron with the Rev. Chris Norton officiating.

Burial will follow in the Little River Cemetery.

Mrs. Moody died Wednesday, May 14, in a Cameron nursing facility.

She was born March 7, 1915, to Tom and Corinne Cox Stidham in the Jones Prairie community of Milam County. She married Dwight Moody on April 23, 1937. She was the music director for Edith Hubert’s private kindergarten for many years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband on Nov. 3, 2000.

Survivors include two sons, Dwight Moody of Angleton and Tom Moody of Cedar Park; a daughter, Nancy L. McDaniel of Cameron; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
