Services for Laura Oliver, 84, of Troy will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home in Temple with Rodger Weems and H.K. Ballard officiating.

Burial will follow in Pleasant View Cemetery.

Mrs. Oliver died Wednesday, May 14, at her home.

She was born Jan. 8, 1924, to Benjamin and Pearl Dockery Ford in Bottoms. She graduated from Troy High School in 1940. She married Allen Benson Oliver on May 20, 1943, in Troy. She was a member of the Troy Church of Christ. Her husband preceded her in death on April 30, 1986.

Survivors include four sons, Kenneth Oliver of Troy, Bruce Oliver of Georgetown, Royce Oliver of Temple and Lawrence Oliver of Livingston; three daughters, Jill McLearen of Hewitt, Billie Ruth Clinard of Temple and Sherry Reed of Troy; a brother, Roy Ford of Temple; two sisters, May Greenway of Oneaville and Bennie Oliver of Bridgeport; 18 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
