KILLEEN — Services for Anna Mary Alston, 88, of Killeen will be 11 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church of Killeen with the Rev. Randy Wallace officiating.

Burial will follow in Killeen City Cemetery.

Mrs. Alston died Wednesday, May 14, at her home.

She was born Aug. 27, 1919, to Howard and Lola Rigby in Bedias. She graduated from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor and received a master’s degree from Baylor University. She taught in the Killeen Independent School District for 40 years. She married Homer Alston. A son, Ronny Alvin Alston, preceded her in death on April 28, 1978.

Survivors include her husband of 68 years of Killeen; a daughter, Jo Ann Richerson of Sugar Land; five grandchildren; and a great-grandson.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen.
