Teresa Collman is overcome as her daughter, Danika Whetstone (center), 6, reads the “plane ticket” that Holland students and the Make-A-Wish Foundation created for her. The gym was packed with people from the community who will help Danika’s wish of swimming with the dolphins at Sea World in Florida come true. Danika also received swimming apparel and beach balls. More than $5,000 was raised for her trip by school and community fundraisers. Danika, who has Leigh’s disease, is sitting in her aunt Dariel Walker’s lap.
