Private services for Rachael Lynn Foster Martin, 56, of Temple will be held at a later date with the Rev. Ernest Thompson officiating.

Mrs. Martin died Tuesday at her home.

She was born on Nov. 6, 1951, to John Leonard Foster and Wanda Lee Bolin Foster in Temple where she was a lifelong resident. She married Roy Neal Martin Sr. on March 25, 1969. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband of 39 years of Temple; two sons, Roy Neal Martin Jr. and Christopher Neal Martin, both of Temple; four daughters, Kathy Martin, Stephanie White, Melissa Mayo and Stacie Lynn Martin, all of Temple; a brother, Donald Wayne Foster of Troy; five sisters, Billie Clarice Pacatte, Susan Elaine Guthrie, Lydia Ann Whiteley, Mary Catherine Davidson and Aleshia Gayle Blackmon, all of Temple; her mother, Wanda Lee Merryman of Temple; 14 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple.
