BARTLETT — Services for Fortunato Reyes Castro, 71, of Bartlett will be 10 a.m. Friday at S.S. Cyril Methodius Catholic Church in Granger with Deacon Willie Luna officiating.

Burial will follow in Bartlett City Cemetery.

Mr. Castro died Wednesday at his home.

He was born on March 9, 1937, to Desiderio and Rosa Reyes Castro in Granger. He married Lydia Campos on May 24, 1962. He retired from WilsonArt in Temple on Dec. 29, 1990, after 22 years of service. He was a member of S.S. Cyril Methodius Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years of Bartlett; three daughters, Elizabeth “Lisa” Bell and Mary Pierce, both of Bartlett, and Iris Downey of Taylor; three brothers, Raymond Castro of Austin, Porfirio Castro of Temple and Martin Carrillo of Chicago; two sisters, Frances Luna of Granger and Carolina Haros of Austin; and nine grandchildren.

A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today at Goodnight Funeral Home in Bartlett.
