LAMPASAS — Memorial services for Dorothy Ann Peachee, 73, of Lometa will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Family of Faith Church in Lometa with Bob McClinton officiating.

Mrs. Peachee died Friday, June 20, in an Austin hospital.

The body will be cremated.

She was born Feb. 9, 1935, to Herbert Raymond Derry and Gertrude Hefferman Derry in New London, Conn. She married James Lynn Peachee on July 28, 1951, in Groton, Conn. She was a homemaker and a member of Family of Faith Church in Lometa.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years of Lometa; a son, James Lynn Peachee Jr. of Garner, N.C.; three daughters, DaeLyn Angell of Fort Riley, Kan., Debra Ann Watson and Michelle Rene McClinton, both of Lometa; two sisters, Gertrude Ogburn of Wyoming and Gloria Bressler of Ohio; 18 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Sneed Funeral Chapel in Lampasas is in charge of arrangements.
